About Renee

 

I received my Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, one of the country's four medical schools specializing in science based natural medicine and research.  I completed my clinical training at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health, an integrative medical clinic in Seattle that serves 30, 000 patients each year.  I also provided naturopathic care at the Consejo Counseling & Referral Service to the latino community, and at Covenant Shores, a retirement community. I trained with several other naturopathic & medical doctors, specializing in pediatrics, women's healthcare, neurology and functional medicine.  Prior to Bastyr, I graduated Cum Laude from Bucknell University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a pre-med concentration and theater (acting/directing) minor. 

I am a Board-certified Naturopathic Doctor, Licensed in Washington State.  I am President of the Pennsylvania Association of Naturopathic Physicians (PANP), as well as members to both the American and Washingon Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP and WANP respectively).

 

Unfortunately, Pennsylvania does not license ND's at this time.  However, PANP is working toward regulation of the Naturopathic profession to protect Pennsylvania consumers.  In fact, we have been able to get a bill introduced into the House.  For more information about how you can support licensure of Naturopathic Physicians in PA, visit www.panp.org.
